Growing up, art was my escape, my therapy, and my passion. I didn’t always have a place where I felt seen or encouraged, so I made it my mission to build that space for others in Savannah, Georgia. Whether it's a child picking up a paintbrush for the first time or a senior rediscovering their love for color, I wanted a studio where creativity feels accessible and personal for everyone. As for the name—“Big Larry” is what the kids in my neighborhood used to call me. It stuck. And now, it's more than a nickname—it’s a symbol of something real, familiar, and rooted in the community. Big Larry’s Art isn’t just my business—it’s my heart, my story, and my way of giving back through Art services such as Paint and Sips, Private Lessons and graphic services for all ages.

Walking into Big Larry’s Art feels like stepping into a space that’s part studio, part community, and all heart. During our Paint and Sip events, the lights are soft, the music sets the mood, and each table is set up with everything you need to relax and create. You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy yourself—our instructors guide you step-by-step, but always encourage you to make it your own. By the end of the session, you walk out with more than just a painting. You leave with a smile, a sense of accomplishment, and maybe even a few new friends.
